This week’s reading features some tough teaching and some gory details. This might be a good opportunity to talk about what you think and remember learning about sin… if you flashback to your CCD days give you at the sound of the words “near occasion of sin” then this week’s conversation is for you. "Wonderous Stories" Children’s Liturgy of the Word is a special celebration of the scriptures with readings from the children’s lectionary. These readings are brought alive for the children using methods that include drama, and an interactive style.

This reading will take you back to a thousand homilies where you and I were asked “and you… who do YOU say that Jesus is?” It’s a fair question, but not the only part of the reading worth digging into. But no matter how deep you want to go (or not), I pray you’ll have great conversations around this Sunday’s readings!
