Have you ever heard this quote, from 1Peter 3:15? It goes: "Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope..."
Granted, this letter from Peter wasn't written personally to us, here in 2020 in the midst of an ever-more-frightening epidemic, but it was written to a group of Christians who were seriously struggling, so I think it applies. What is the reason for your hope?
We'd love to hear from you as to the reason for your hope as we near Christmas celebrations. We're collecting short videos (15-20 seconds) of people or families answering the question "what is giving you hope right now?" And we'd love to feature a bunch of those videos in our Christmas online Mass.
Send us your video! You can message via our Facebook page,

And if you're looking for a reason to hope, join us for Mass, online or in person, and plan to join us to celebrate Christmas. Or come on down to IC and add some twinkly lights to a tree (or shrub, or whatever) to help you and everyone who walks by getting into the spirit.
Thank you for all you do, MQOA-ers, to share hope in this difficult time!
