Hello again!
I'm back from several weeks of soul-rest. I spent the time healing in my grief, reading and writing, and hiking (sometimes in mud and sometimes on icy snow, but I had to get out there), among other things. I am so thankful for all the messages of prayer and support from parishioners; how blessed I am! And how glad to be back!
I'm here just in time to live Lent with you. I love the opportunity that Lent gives us to tune up our faith lives and invest in our relationships with God. We have so many cool things for you here at MQOA (which you can read all about at our Lent page).
I'm also back at a time of global unrest and crisis. Like you, I've been watching things happen in Ukraine with sorrow and worry, and have wanted to do something. This Sunday night, March 6, we've been invited to a vigil at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Church on Bridge Street. We'll gather at IC and walk over together, a .4 mile route. Bring a candle, or use one of ours, and join us (or meet us there at 6) for this embodied prayer for peace. Find out more by clicking here.
I look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.
Blessings!
