Many years ago, when I was a Youth Minister, I noticed an interesting trend. Young Catholics, coming home after being away at college, would come back with questions. They had gotten into late-night conversations about faith and beliefs in their dorms, and when their new friends had asked about their Catholicism, they realized that they didn’t have satisfying responses to give. Being asked about what they believed seemed to open up their own questions about faith.
For many Catholics, religious education ended in high school (for some of us, that was before we cared to know anything about our faith!), leaving us with a less-than satisfying deposit of faith or knowledge to keep us going as adults. But it’s never too late to dive back in, learn or re-learn what we never understood or have forgotten about our Catholic faith.
And so we invite you to brush up your Catholic knowledge on Sunday nights during Lent, with How To Catholic. Wonder why we say what we say in the Creed? Forget what the sacraments even are? Curious about what the Church has to say about morality? Want to talk to a REAL LIVE BISHOP?? Join us Sunday at 7:00, every week in Lent, starting this weekend, on Zoom. And bring your questions!
