There are many ways that one can use their gifts and talents to serve this wonderful and welcoming community.
Following our Discipleship Pathway, we encourage all volunteers to experience Alpha as a guest and then join an Alpha team. Alpha gives guests a place to discuss openly their doubts and faith while training the team on the leadership skills needed for Alpha and programs post-Alpha.
After being an Alpha Guest, all volunteers go through our onboarding process which includes, a background check (annual CORI form), Gifts Discernment (find where God is calling you), and an overview of MQOA's Mission & Vision. If working with children, Protecting God's Children course (90-minute) is required. This onboarding process ensures the safety of our community and empowered volunteers to use their God-given gifts for his people.
If you are interested in volunteering at MQOA in any capacity, please schedule a time to meet with our Staff to start this process!
